Out on the waterways...

Lake Saint-Cassien, the jewel of the eastern Var department, offers you all the quiet pleasures of the water’s edge, as well as water-based activities, (swimming, rowing, pedal boating, canoeing, fishing).
Located at the end of one of the lake's arms, the Fondurane ornithological biological preserve is a true paradise for aquatic wildlife and a much-appreciated stopover for migratory birds. It is one of those rare natural areas where an ecosystem, protected since 1988, can be observed in any season.

In the Haute-Siagne Gorges, classified as “Parc Natura 2000” areas, you will discover a wide range of wildlife and lush plant life, as well as vestiges of the area’s history and economy (bridges, mills, etc.)
